for the carrots and tomatoes one, instead of solving it with 9c = 5t i accidentally did 5c = 9t, do you think i would get any carry through or method marks? i solved the rest of it using simultaneous equations and would have got the right answer other than that mistake

Yeahhh as long as you used the right method you'll definitely get some marks

If you guys can remember anymore answers or think that any of the ones I've added so far are wrong then I'll edit it !

number 8 was 3 it was the cylinder question
also the plane/cuboid one answer is 30

There is a 90 degree angle because of the radius meeting the tangent and 51 degrees is on the left side of the radius and makes up part of the 90 degree angle and 39 degrees makes up the other half

I want it to be 39 cause that's what I got too but the 71 answer makes well more sense now that I look at it 🥲

Trust me I want it to be 39 but the answer with the 71 degrees makes wayyy more sense 🥲

I'm just making an unofficial mark scheme for us to add too cause I haven't seen anyone else make one. We can discuss the answers in the chat below but I'm gonna add the answers that I've seen on other maths forums for now

1) division with decimals - 56.4

2) fractions - 4 7/8

3)125 surface area of cube is 150 cm2 find the volume

4) frequency polygon

5-pressure(cylinder) question- 3

6- 20% holiday question - £1200

7-the pentagon question -140degrees

8-the sphere 10 square root 2

9-scatter graph
a) as age increases weight increases-its a positive correlation

b)4 months

10- a)venn diagram
b)7/10

17- circle theorem - 71°

18- plane/ cuboid question - 30 degrees

19- carrots -30p
Tomatoes -54p

20- dessert question - 7

Sorry to be a pain but if you can remember it'd be really great if you put how many marks roughly each question was worth

Yesss ofc

I’ve added the marks , but there may be one more/ less for some of the questions, so it’s not fully accurate

The angle besides the one we are meant to find isn't 51

If I wrote 4 and 14/16 for mixed fractions instead of 7/8 is it still correct
i mean it did say simplying and the values are the same so id say so

Circle theorem was 39 tho hes wrong.

It wasn't 39 because you couldn't have used the angles in the same segment theorem as not all points were touching the circumference, you had to use "angle at the centre is twice the angle at the circumference" to eventually get 71

My bad it's just cause I saw a lot of other people get 71 and someone shared their working too. Just wondering how you got 39?

its 71 since u get 39 using same segment theorem but that cant work cause not all the bits are at the circumference therefore u cant use that rule to get 39 so 71 is correct

Basically, its alternatesegment theorem to get 51 on the part of the shape thats touching the tangent, then you subtract that from 90 to get 39.

its not as same segment u need it to be on the circumfrence this was just on the centre therefore u do the angle at the centre is double
