Hello @Anonymous , I stayed in St George`s in my first year and I absolutely loved it! The location is great , only approximately 3 minute walk from the gym and then around 15 minute walk to the centre of campus!
I stayed in a ensuite room , and shared a kitchen with 7 other people. I really enjoyed this as it was a great chance to socialise with my flatmates in the kitchen. So in my block in St George`there was 4 floors , 2 flats on each floor. I made really good friends with other people from the block and now live with them this year! St George`s was really sociable. It is also very close to a bus stop which could take you straight into town.
So in terms of Sherfield , I haven`t got any personal experience with it , but here is a link to more information about Sherfield - https://www.reading.ac.uk/ready-to-study/accommodation/locations/sherfield-hall .
Hopefully this has helped. Please feel free to ask if you want me to expand on any points.
