Do you need a CAS?
Each university may have a slightly different process and timeline but as a quick guide...
Once you have applied to your chosen university and received an offer to study you may need a visa from the UKVI to study in the UK. Before you can make an application for your visa you must receive a CAS from the university. CAS (confirmation of acceptance to study) will be provided by the university once you have met all your conditions of offer including academic conditions, payment of a deposit, and submitting financial documentation. You will receive your CAS via email, this will allow you to apply for your visa up to 6 months before the course starts.
