note in a level exam

this may sound really stupid but I left a note that said 'answer continued on the last page' because I crossed out a huge section within the actual answer box if you know what i mean, and I had to use the spare paper at the back. Was it ok to leave a note or would the examiner be a bit iffy? (im aware of how ridiculous this sounds but please put my mind at ease)
That’s ok there’s nothing wrong with saying these the continuation is on the next page

ok thank you!! I said it twice because I was worried if the examiner may not see specifically the bit in the paragraph that was continued :,))

That should be fine
if it's something designated in the paper as "spare paper", then there should be no problem at all, those pages will get scanned in. That's the intended use of those pages.
