Did you get some stupid fractions for x and y value for centre of circle?

(5,8)

Centre was (5,8) and the radius squared was 170

Yep, 8 minutes

Answers I got :

288cm for min distance
Equation of circle : (x-5)^2 + (y-8)^2 = 170
Number of intersection = 4
Exact value of cos b = -(2root10)/7
Trapezium rule 2.3336 or smth like that
Value for L 350
Number of minutes for container to be full - I got 8.1 minutes so I rounded to 9 for it to be actually full, since 8 minutes wouldn't mean the container is full? But I might be wrong there
Exact area for 2^x I got 15/(16ln2)
Value for R root 17 and alpha as 1.33
Value for p was 4/5
A and B were both 1/8
Coordinates of stat points (0,0) (4,2) I think (may got numbers wrong way round)

I'll edit if I remember more

Not sure if it’s right, but that’s what I got if it’s any consolation

I agree with all of these but I put 8 minutes after a lengthy debate in my head over whether to put 8 or 9.
where A and B= 1/8 for the partial fractions question?? the reciprocal part rlly threw me off

cosb = -(2root10)/7?

It had to be positive. B was between 270 and 360 degrees if I remember correctly, so cos is positive.

Yes I had a about an hour spare, and was wondering whether I should put 8 or 9 but in the end I put 9, not sure I feel the question wasn't completely clear in that sense
