hi! what it wants is for you to give an inequality (interval) where the difference between the two numbers (the 'width') is 0.001, that contains x₃ and x₄. we know that it wants it to contain x₃ and x₄ because the iterative formula finds the solution by going above, below, above, etc, so we know the solution must be between our two most recent values. x₃= 1.5743 and x₄= 1.5748 so as the difference between the two is 0.0005 we have several possible inequalities that would satisfy our requirements, but the answer that uses the roundest numbers is 1.574 <= a <= 1.575
