Anyone know why this happened?
I go to a pretty small private school, so all teachers know my name and personality and stuff, and I get called a nickname (fliss) by absolutely everyone at school. I dont know why I do, but I like being called it so i have no issue. Theres this one teacher though who will only use my full name when talking to me. She refers to me as fliss when talking about me, but she calls me my full name when i talk to her. Does anyone know why? I just am worried she hates me or something. Thanks x
Fliss is a pretty standard nickname/shortening of Felicity. Maybe she sees your name as more formal and maybe it’s just her habit to refer to students by their full names when she’s talking to them.
