The Greatest of All Time?

In my opinion, saying something is the Greatest Of All Time (or the GOAT) is one of the stupidest and nonsensical things our society has come up with in a long time. I get it, people do like putting certain personalities and things on pedestals above everything else related to it-but think about the meaning of what you're saying and it really makes no sense at all. To be the Greatest Of All Time, one must know everything that has ever happened on earth, but beyond that know everything that'll happen in the future, oh and people change what a GOAT is to them, so it's never a real or fixed idea either.

I know, you might think I'm overthinking what a GOAT is, but I'm just taking it literally to mean what people claim it to-and presenting it for how erroneous it is to me.
