Welcome to the TSR best (post-war) PM tournament!
This is Pool B

TSR is asking the question: Who is the best (post-war) UK Prime Minster?

We're holding a tournament of UK Prime Ministers and asking you to vote to determine which was the most significant in history. We are currently in the group stages of this tournament, and this is Pool B.

All the other groups are linked at the bottom of this post, and there's a hub thread here if you're interested in reading more.

The PMs in Pool B are:
Winston Churchill

He was the 41st Prime Minister and was the leader of the Conservative Party from 1940-1945. He led Britain during the Second World War and is viewed to be one of the greatest wartime leaders and UK PMs in history, despite his controversies.

Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson is the 55th UK Prime Minister who served as the leader of the Conservative Party from 2019-2022, and is viewed by some to be one of the worst PMs in recent UK history. He also served as Mayor of London from 2008-2016, along with being a key component in the 2016 Brexit campaign. His tenure has been marked by challenges such as managing the COVID-19 pandemic and negotiating post-Brexit trade agreements.
Tony Blair

Sir Anthony Blair was the 51st UK Prime Minister and was the leader of the Labour Party from 1997-2007 and ended 18 years of conservative rule in the UK. The Labour Party were in power for an unprecedented three consecutive terms. Some of Blair's policies were genuinely radical, especially the constitutional reforms that delivered a measure of self-government to Wales and Scotland.
Anthony Eden

Anthony Eden, was a British Conservative politician who served as foreign secretary in three different decades and became the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1955 to 1957. His premiership was overshadowed by the Suez Crisis, and he resigned after little more than 18 months in office.
