Worried about picking Biomedical science

I'm having trouble picking which course I want to do.

It seems like biomedical science gets a bad rep in terms of actually getting a job working as a Biomedical scientist. The transferable skills are good but I do worry about me struggling to find a job after graduating, making me question if its even worth doing. My science is okay and I do enjoy it when I understand what's going on . I also heard that the pay is not great either which I do care about too.

Is this degree worth it?
(also kinda planning to move abroad to work as a Biomedical scientist as I've met some people who did that for better wages lol).

Biochemistry student here, my course at my uni is almost identical to the biomed one so I know what i'm on about.

You have to understand that when you pick a course, studying that subject is going to be like a full time job if you want a good grade. If you're going to be doing somethign every day for three years you need to research exaclty what you'll be studying and make sure its mainly things your interested in! (there will always be some modules or some parts of modules that arent going to be your main area of interest in which you specialise in later)

If studying and working in a field that you really enjoy and would be happy to do as a career, then the degree is absoltely worth it. Furthermore, if you want to change careers or move more into the business side of the STEM industry, companies tend not to care what degree you have.
