Niche/specialised cyber security fields

I'm about to start my masters in cyber security and am wondering what the best field to actually go into is? Ideally something that is specialised with not many people going into that I have time to get qualifications for.

Any ideas?

There is no point specialising until you have the basics in place. I think the main misconception for cyber security is thinking it is about highly technical ways of hacking. It really isn't. It is mostly about managing humans who use computers. I went to a seminar on cyber this year and the professional panel had backgrounds in philosophy, English literature, business and no degree at all. None of them were particularly technical.

Get your basics covered and then you will be able to see where the niches are.
