I started doing LOADS of past paper questions from the official site and other site to practice individual topics. To help with understanding, i watched eliot rintoul on youtube - he's really good.
But the key to success is definitely past paper questions... I know iy might feel boring and hard, but a lot of questions are similar year after year and the past papers helped me go from a C in yr 12 to an A* in last years exams!!
Hope this helped
