Box and whisker plot question.

This question has a picture of the box and whisker plots so I will just try to explain it. The question is comparing two box and whisker plots which shows the height of boys and girls.
The data for girls was:
Minimum - 64 inches
Lower quartile - 66 inches
Median - 67 inches
Upper quartile - 69 inches
Maximum - 70 inches
The data for boys was:
Minimum - 61 inches
Lower quartile - 65 inches
Median - 66 inches
Upper quartile - 70 inches
Maximum - 73 inches.
The question asks 'How many boys were taller than all of the girls?'. I know this is 25%, but how can I find how many that it is if I don't know how many boys were measured?

Is there no way to calculate the number of boys surveyed given the data?

OK, I thought the same but the wording of the question seemed like it wanted a number. Thanks for your help.

Yes it does - it's poorly written. Where is it from?

The whole question is rubbish. E.g. for a) the data could look like this:

64, 66, 66, 67, 67, 68, 69, 69, 70

Then 1/3 of the girls are 66 inches or shorter.

Or the data could look like this:

64, 65, 67, 67, 67, 68, 69, 69, 70

Then 2/9 of the girls are 66 inches or shorter.
