what volume is my hair dye developer

Im box dying my hair and I was watching a YouTube video whoch said I should use 30 developer for the result I want to achieve however on my hair dye box it doesn't specify as to which volume the developer is
Use a 30 volume developer when you are box dyeing your own hair at home.
I'm assuming that you are hoping to lighten naturally dark hair by 2-4 levels to obtain a much lighter natural appearing dyed shade of recoloured hair.
Or as part of a process for recolouring hair to a very bright colour like red, green or pink.
I have long dark hair, the hairdressers recolouring my hair generally use 30 & 40 volume developer.

If you are worried about the potential risks of things going wrong when recolouring your hair at home, go to a salon and book an experienced hairdresser who specialises in recolouring to dye your hair for you.
Investing in an experienced professional recolouring hairdresser who works at a well known salon to dye your hair is well worth the money.
Doing so also provides the opportunity to talk to two or three recolouring specialists at the salon for advice on the best volume developer to help you achieve the dyed look that you want for the longest possible time whilst trying to restrict the potential for visible hair damage occurring a result of the recolouring process.

Good luck!
