Transfer from UoG to UoE - Pharmacology

Hi everyone! I managed to snag a Pharmacology spot at Glasgow Uni through clearing yesterday, which I'm excited about as I was scared I wouldn't go to uni this year. However, I currently live in Edinburgh and don't drive, so a commute to the campus and back would take me about 4 hours everyday. This does not sound feasible for 4 years lol. I could manage it for 1 but not 4.

This is why I'm wondering if anyone has ever managed to transfer from UoG after completing their first year and go into second year at UoE. I read a bit about it on Edin's website which kinda says it's possible(?) but I'd rather hear from people's personal experiences. I'll try phoning Edin in the morning as well to ask but for now I'll throw this discussion out there. Thanks in advance!
