Haven’t received SQA certificate because of the college and uni strike
First post on here so don’t know if this is the right forum.
So I completed my HNC in applied sciences for Biology which I passed and got an offer to study biology at Heriot watt direct entry to 2nd year. When it came to results day I didn’t get my certificate due to the college and university marking strike so I’m just wondering what should I do I’m worried that the longer that it takes for me to get the certificate the less chance that I have to secure a accommodation since my offer is still conditional and I don’t have the physical certificate to show as evidence.

Do Heriot Watt know that your results have been affected by the strike action?
Have your college provided you with anything to confirm that you have passed and a transcript of marks that have been completed? Universities know that the marking boycott is affecting applicants and will often be willing to accept alternatives confirming a pass and some marks.
