transferring credits

Hi, I studied English at university, however due to mental health and family problems I ended up failing my last year. The university I studied at offered me a chance to retake or accept a lesser award. I chose to accept a lesser award as I was unfit to go to university at the time. However, I am now wanting to return and do over my final year.

I’ve heard about transferring credits and this is something that I’ve been interested in. I moved out of my university city and would like to complete my degree in a local university or through the Open University.

Has anyone gone through this process and know how it works? Any help would be great! Thank you.

Unfortunately the deadline to apply for OU credit transfer for an October start has just passed, and most stage 3 modules don't offer February starts. You could try contacting them and should still put in the application, but you would probably be looking at a Oct 2024 start.
