Let’s say you have a question “Outline and evaluate research into studies of conformity”

Paragraph 1: You would put AO1 in this paragraph, so outline a conformity study- e.g. Asch. You don’t have to describe the complete method of the study, this comes into evaluation, just outline it.

Paragraph 2: This will be your first evaluation, aim for 3 paragraphs of evaluation, just in case one evaluation isn’t as good. Start off with, “one strength/limitation of studies into conformity is…” state clearly what the strength/limitation is, outline it and say WHY it is a strength/limitation.

Paragraph 3: repeat

Paragraph 4: repeat

Aim for both limitations and strengths not just one or the other.

Use PEEL (Point, Evidence, Explain, Link) for each evaluation point.
You don’t need a conclusion.

If a question tells you to apply to a scenario, do a separate application paragraph after the first paragraph, then evaluate after. Don’t scatter the application throughout the essay, keep to the one paragraph.
