I accidently rented uni accommodation a month early, am i screwed
I'm renting a room in an ensuite and opted for one of the cheaper places at £200pppw (Brighton is very expensive) and paid for the deposit of £200 to lock it in. I paid for it on the same day and didn't realise it said it was available from august tomorrow but I start my enrolment in September next month, as does my maintenance loan. Am I totally screwed, I have thought of asking to move my payments to another property from the same company but they are currently closed for the day. I am freaking out what do I do?
Have you signed the contract yet? What is the start date listed on the contract if so?
it depends on what you signed. perhaps they might you let you off and keep the deposit.
