I think you're saying that she got a grade 6 in the GCSE itself, and D (Distinction) in the "Speaking and Listening" component, which is graded separately. That would appear on her results slip as "6 D". Does that sound right?

If she wants to know her actual mark in the GCSE, she can ask her school (they'll have all that information).
