A Day Out in London: Galleries near Soho

I am sure you have been to Soho, but have you ever been to the galleries around Soho and Mayfair? Here are a few galleries I visited recently in central London!

Photographers Gallery
Located on Ramillies Street, the gallery is dedicated to various forms of photography, featuring a mix of contemporary and historical photography exhibitions, as well as installations and multimedia presentations.
In addition to the special exhibitions, the gallery also has its very own bookshop which has a diverse range of photography books and prints for sale. I highly recommend browsing through their collection when you have the time! Do remember to bring your student ID card or art pass to get a discounted ticket for their special exhibits. :h:

Halycon Gallery
Specialising in modern and contemporary art, the Halcyon gallery was established in 1982 and showcases art from both established and emerging artists. Currently displaying works by Dominic Harris, the exhibition Feeding Consciousness plays with intricate digital artworks of butterflies and fantasy worlds that interact with the viewer!

Royal Academy of Arts
Based in Burlington House on Piccadilly, the Royal Academy is one of the oldest and most prestigious art institutions in the UK. It hosts a variety of exhibitions showcasing works by renowned artists, including its famous Summer Exhibition featuring works by both emerging and established artists.
