Anyone heard when accommodation booking opens ?

At the offer holder day, it was mentioned that it’s the end of March but I’ve not heard a specific date yet.

Thank you

There is a Sheffield live for accommodation later. They may share a more accurate date then but I’m not sure.

Hi 😊.
This is the thread for people who are thinking of applying to University of Sheffield for 2024.
Meet and chat to other applicants applying here.
Here are some icebreaker questions, but feel free to ask whatever you want regarding Sheffield.
1) What A Levels are you doing (or other eligible qualifications)?
2) What course at Sheffield do you have your eyes on? And why?
3) What grades did you get/are you predicted to get at GCSE and Sixth Form?
4) Why Sheffield specifically?
5) Which admissions tests do you have to sit if any, and when will you start preparing for them?
6) Will you be attending any Open Days?
7) How are you feeling about starting University?
8) Other unis you're interested in?
The general website for the university can be found here.
You can find a directory linking to all of the other university applicant threads here.
General TSR rules:
(1) Please don't ask for or post group chat links.
(2) Please don't ask for or post interview questions.
(3) Please don't offer to buy and sell items.
Hello,
My name is Gabriella Dimitrova, I am taking an unusual route, I do a T level Health course in Health and I have received a conditional offer for Orthoptics. I am predicted to get a Distinction with Overall B. I have attended an open day as well as had a successful interview, unsure about booking an offer holder day due to the distance, I live near London!
I had applied for Liverpool and Glasgow but rejected them, as I’m interested in Sheffield only.

Hi, I've put Sheffield as my first choice for uni. How quickly would you say I should book accomodation? I have started looking but none of the flats I would prefer have been released yet, should I wait or just book a different one sooner?

Hello there,
When I applied for my accommodation, I experienced a similar situation. I contacted the accommodation team via email, and received a reply which informed me that more accommodation would become available as the days go by. My advice to you is to send an email to the accommodation team, just to check when your ideal flat choice will become available for you to apply for.
Thank for getting in touch - and I hope you get your dream flat!

Hi,
I'm doing Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology at A Level and predicted A*A*A*.
I've applied for Biochemistry with an Industrial Placement Year.
I like the city, and went to the open day and loved the facilities (felt like good environment and nice place to be). Accommodation looks nice too.

Hii, I have also applied for Biochemistry, and I also do the same A-Levels as you!!
