Graduate entry medicine - applying after I graduate

Hi,

I want to apply for graduate entry medicine, but I am not sure whether I should apply for this current year or whether I should wait for next year.

For a bit of context, I am starting my final year of university studying a biology based degree. I didn't think about medicine until a few weeks ago and haven't got any related work experience.

I have booked a UCAT, but I am worried I don't have enough time to revise for it.

I would appreciate advice on what to do next as I feel very lost. I'm not 100% sure whether medicine is the correct path for me but I want to figure it out.

if your unsure about medicine, simple advice, do work experience. Try shadow a doctor for a few days, see what a hospital work environment is like. Do you have any particular interest with medicine you would potentially want to specialise in.
GEM is very competitive so make sure to get as much volunteering, and high ukcat, you got this !

Thank you for your reply! So my plan would be to complete my final year and then get some work experience/ volunteering?

That's what I feel comfortable with right now
