degree to become an investigative journalist

I've always wanted to be a reporter and additionally have a lot of interest in crime statistics and general criminal activity, which is why I picked my degree criminology and sociology. Of course experience is essential when considering a career within the media, but I wanted to ask whether a bachelors in crime and sociology would be enough or whether to undertake an International journalism masters. thanks!

If you want to be a journalist, you would be well-advised to do an NCTJ-accredited journalism degree, whether that be undergraduate or post-graduate.

Sociology & Criminology at UG degree is fine. Try to pick up experience on student TV, radio or newspaper at the same time.
