Here are five reasons to study an architecture course at Bradford.

Long-term career prospects
A degree in architecture could set you up for life.

Architects can enjoy a long and fulfilling career. They will be at the forefront of creating innovative solutions to deal with the housing crisis and population growth.

Students who gain Chartered Architectural Technologist status (CIAT) can earn a starting salary of £30,000 to £45,000.

To gain chartered status (ARB, CIAT, CIOB) you would need to complete a further 3-5 years of work experience as a practising engineer.

Placement opportunities
Gain industry experience whilst you study.

A placement year is an excellent way to develop your professional experience. You can build industry contacts and gain insight into the day-to-day work of a professional engineer.

During a placement year, you'll get the opportunity to learn first-hand how buildings are designed and constructed on-site. You'll see how professionals provide services whilst considering the environmental impact of their designs.

Our students have enjoyed placements with:
▪️ Unilever
▪️ Jaguar Land Rover
▪️ Rolls Royce
▪️ Flow Water Technologies (Cyprus)
▪️ Mid Yorkshire Hospital Trust
▪️ Network Rail

The advantages of placements are endless. Many students have secured job offers on successful completion of their placement year.

Making a difference
A hands-on approach.

Making a difference doesn't start after you graduate, at Bradford you'll make a difference from day one.

You can work with engineers and be at the forefront of innovative collaborations with AI programmers, material scientists, business leaders, structural designers, and development professionals.

You'll get to work on authentic projects varying in complexity, context, and scale.

This post is confusing and misleading. Bradford doesn't offer architecture as a course - it offers architectural technology and architectural engineering - and graduates from these courses cannot call themselves 'architects'. The title ‘architect’ is protected by law in the UK and can only be used by someone who is on the Architects Register that is maintained by the Architects Registration Board (ARB). It is a seven-year process to become an architect and you have to study RIBA vaildated undergraduate and masters architecture courses to register with the ARB. Neither of Bradford's courses enable this.
