Doing accounting at a universtiy

I searched up what a-levels to do for accounting at a university and it said there was business and maths recommended but im not doing either. I really want to do accounting but im doing creative a-levels: fine art, BTEC media and photography. Is there any university that would accept me to do accounting if I do these a-levels?

Accounting degrees generally don't require specific A Levels.
Maths is a required subject for some accounting and finance degrees, but these tend to be the more quantitative kind i.e. more maths in the finance modules.
Business is not a required subject for any degree as far as I know.

If you are doing the creative subjects, you shoudl be fine for a number of accounting degrees, so logn they accept your BTEC. See the following as examples:
https://www.manchester.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/courses/2023/07808/bsc-accounting/entry-requirements/#alternative-entry-requirements
https://courses.leeds.ac.uk/f834/accounting-and-finance-bsc#entry (see also: https://business.leeds.ac.uk/undergraduate/doc/entry-requirements)
https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/undergraduate/courses/business/accounting-finance.aspx#EntryRequirementsTab

Do note, the above are only the first 3 degrees that I found using Google (since I am not going to scour the entire internet to list all the degrees you would be eligible for).

Do also note that you can go straight into the professional accounting qualifications and go into accounting apprenticeships with your existing subjects. You don't need a degree to go into accounting, let alone an accounting degree. The key would be to find a job and an employer who would employ trainees, since they're really rare.

Thank you so much, I was worried I would have to change my subjects and be a whole month behind. Thank you!!

The bigger question you need to ask yourself is why you haven't done Maths - if its because you dont enjoy numbers/data/analysis then you do need to think about the reality of a job that revolves around those things.
