Can I get marked down for writing too much for my epq?
I do edexcel for the epq. I've done about 30 pages including the logging but I found out recently from my friend I could lose marks for writing too much. I feel like this is incorrect; its meant to be a dissertation I should feel the need to write a lot.

Yeah going over the word count doesn’t seem to be a problem for Edexcel (the specifically said they you won’t get penalised for doing so). Maybe your friend did a different exam board? I did AQA and going over the word limit did have implications
