Final year research project biomedical science

I’m currently just starting my research project and I am considering to pick a lab based one (probably something to do with E. coli and it’s antibacterial resistant because I have done some stuff on it before) are there any good areas/topics I should look at the project must include a systematic review and a meta analysis

I am actually studying PhD about Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in wastewater. I am still in my first year, but I am completing my literature review soon. I am not focusing only on E. Coli, but pathogens in general. I have not started working in the lab yet, but I am preparing experimental plan.

Could you specify your question please? What exactly do you need help with? There are plenty review and research articles on the online databases regarding E.Coli and AMR (e.g. scopus.com).
