What’s Bangor town like?

I’m looking at studying in Bangor. The university looks amazing, stunning and brilliant courses…but then I walked around the town…..
I’d love to people’s honest opinion about what it’s like to live there.

Bangor is not a town but a cathedral city. It is tiny so I would lie to you if I said it has a vibrant atmosphere. It does not, but it has gorgeous towns all around it, good supermarkets, great places to eat vegetarian food, and it is so much cheaper than other British cities. I got a part-time job at my university just three weeks after I arrived! and the accommodation fees include free gym membership and excursions. To be honest, everybody looks quite happy here, so don't think you would not regret accepting an offer from this uni. I am super happy I came here.
