Postgrad chances

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a bit of advice on my chances of getting into top uk postgraduate schools for Msc in Economics/Finance or potentially Mres/Mphil.

I am a current final year at St Andrews studying joint honours economics & management, on track for a high 2:1. Outside of academics I'm a writer for the uni's economics newspaper, analyst for the investment society and have internship experience in Consulting with PwC.

I have good references as well but i'm worried about mediocre grades in sub-honours and competing with students with 1st class'. What should I focus on to try and compensate for this? and do i realistically have a chance with Oxbridge, LSE, Warwick, Edinburgh and UCL?
