Speeding offence

I recently got a speeding offence for doing 38 in a 30. I’ve also recently applied to unis and am waiting on some offers. Do i declare this to them? I’m 18 and have been driving around 3 months. Also, what will be the likely outcome? I would like to do the speeding course if possible.
I’m also waiting on some competitive universities like UCL and KCL, will they care?

If you're caught speeding as a new driver, you can still expect a minimum of 3 penalty points on your licence. However, if you build up more than 6 penalty points within 2 years of passing your driving test, your driving licence will be withdrawn.

You don't need to inform universities about speeding offences.
