How to do crunches properly

I'm trying to become fitter because I literally do no exercise but then I realise why I don't is because I can't. I feel like my body is weak everywhere. So when I'm trying to do crunches I queef, and you're supposed to engage your pelvic floor but I don't know what this means. And for other exercises I feel like I'm doing them all wrong. It's honestly so annoying. I'm just trying to exercise but by doing certain things like a plank I feel like I'm worsening my posture because I'm doing it incorrectly.
I'm a pt and online coach and don't worry, people do struggle with a lot of core exercises so you're not the only one! To do a crunch, lay down with your back on the floor and your knees bent but with your feet on the floor if that makes sense! Put your hands on your quads and then as your back comes off the floor gradually move your hands up your quads towards your knees. Do not go any further than your knees. Then repeat 🙂
