Changing Cohorts

So I redid one module I failed in September from my first year and passed
I have now been accepted to join the January intake for my 2nd year in university, however all the payments on my student finance are starting for from September. I recently heard that you shouldn’t have been able to do that but it’s too late now . I was wondering if there’s any type of way to solve this problem or to contact student finance so they can fix the payments for January can align properly
