How should I structure a comparative analysis?

I'm trying to compare the histories of two countries and so far I have written both histories in 2 separate paragraphs. I feel like to ACC compare though, I need to write some links that they both share in both paragraphs at the end to help reiterate my overall argument. Idk if I make sense, but should I do this? If not, what is the best way to write really good comparative analysis?
