Regretting UCAS choices

I decided to apply for English Literature with creative writing but I'm regretting it. I feel like Media Studies would have been a better choice, but the application was literally just sent off by my college (very late I know, wasn't my choice my college is just slow). Can you ask a uni to change your course? I don't think my college would let me edit my choices and it'd take them weeks to resend my application anyway. Can you change your course when you actually start uni or is it set in stone? And should I just see how the course goes (if I even get in)?

Yes, most universities will have some flexibility at this point, especially as the two subjects are quite similar!

I would recommend contacting the university directly and seeing what they can do for you.🙂
