Is maths needed for architecture?

A small minority of degrees ask or prefer applicants with maths/physics. The majority don’t.

Architecture is a design based degree and career. It isn’t engineering.

Good grades without maths/physics will give you a much broader choice of architecture degrees than maths/physics at grades below an A.

Good grades including a creative subject (art, art and design, design and technology) will give you even more of an advantage as you will be better prepared to produce a portfolio of creative work.
