What are some good questions to ask teachers to get moved up??

At school I really want to be moved up a set, what questions should I ask my teacher to show interest?

Do your homework well and do well in tests. Ask your teacher 'What do I need to do to be moved up?'

Print off some maths papers, do them and ask if your teacher would be able to mark them (make sure to ask if they are ok with this before hand). Frame it in a way of demonstrating your ability and willingness to push yourself
