Anyone got a mis-offer?

I was very excited when I got an e-mail from UEA saying I had an offer - but it was for the wrong course!
The e-mail after that apologised for the mis-offer but I think I could have lived with English and Creative Writing. :biggrin:

Aww that's awful!! I hope they give you a proper offer soon!

A friend of mine received an offer from LSE last year very early and 2 months later received a rejection letter. She called them and they said the offer was a mistake!

I'd be upset if I'd been rejected, but I still have hope. :smile:

Yeah, I mean she was gutted at the time but she is at Oxford now and pretty happy. I was just surprised at the audacity of LSE - they didn't even apologise to her. Good luck with your application :smile:
