Vaseline for Ramadan

Hi! Just a quick question, but I’m wondering if Vaseline is permissible to use on the lips. I have tried to search for an answer, but I haven’t really gotten anywhere except for some mixed debates about it. I’m someone that has dry lips like 24/7 unless I put my lip products on. I don’t obviously swallow vaseline either because it tastes disgusting.

I personally dont wear it because of it even unconsouly slipping into the mouth so I try to avoid all products on the face and lips, weather it be makeup or lip balm, I try to avoid it until after the fast has broken. But I also know a lot of people who do wear it so then it throws me off thinking maybe I am just from a strict household but then again maybe they're from a lenient household.

Sorry if this doesnt help at all, but basically what I am saying is I avoid it at all costs because that is the way I have been taught by my parents, but Im not sure if it is the same ruleings for all muslims as there is different types depeninding on which one you are.
