What is the pay of a pharmacist?

So I just looked at another thread with the same title but the people giving the figures started working like decades ago and no offense but I'm sure salaries have risen.

The government website dictates that they start off at £35k but many different websites/articles states that its £28k. Seen the people in the other thread say its £21k.

So can someone who is currently studying as a pharmacist or recently graduated and got a job tell me what the starting salary really is?

I don't want to work my bum off to just get a job with a bad wage and earn literally what a taxi driver earns yearly. Id rather go into medicine (not keen on it doe).
Especially since ive heard its hard to move up pay grades as a pharmacist unlike doctors who move up practically every other year (based on the doctors that i spoke to) - is that true?

Also, what is the difference between community pharmacist and hospital pharmacist?
