APD suspicion
I kinda suspect I have APD (Auditory Processing Disorder). My ears are always ringing, I had a hearing test which came back normal and I can always hear people but not understand a word that they're saying. Any advice on what I should do?
Hi, as someone with auditory processing disorder the part about not being able to understand words sounds like auditory processing disorder, however ears ringing is not a common symptom, and sounds more like tinnitus. Either way, I'd recommend speaking to a gp about because they'll probably be able to give you a referral to an audiologist.
