Changing course UAL

For the past few months I've been trying to change courses before enrolling at first they were helpful and then UAL went silent on me. So I took a gap year to develop more skills and my portfolio and asked if I can change again as no-one hasn't been picked for the course yet,to study this year. And UAL response was to drop out and apply again and the deadline was basically up to apply for uni on UCAS.Which it is within the same uni and a similar course. Just to also be told im not guaranteed to get in and will my lose my space. I felt very dismissed and have relealised they don't seem to care about people who aren't enrolled students. Just wanted to ask what was your process in transferring? What advice would you give me?
