UCAS extra applications

Hi there,
I recently applied to UAL for a practical-based course but did not get accepted, however, I have gotten acceptances from other universities. If I want to risk declining my current offers and applying to UAL again through UCAS extra for a different non-practical based course (Fashion Buying and Merchandising in LCF) because I reassessed when my interests in fashion truly lie, what are the chances of me getting accepted into the course if I meet the grade requirements? Will I be judged on my previous personal statement? Because if I don't get accepted, I would have no university offers.
And if I apply next year to change my university for the second year and want to apply for a fashion buying course, will it matter if I have previously studied Fashion Marketing in year 1?
Please help me out
