As already said, have a look on this platform - hopefully there should be something for the university you have applied for. When I was heading into first year; I also had a look on Facebook usually there may be something like university name and freshers for whatever year you are starting. Some people may post about what course they are going to study, or accommodation and / or just general queries. However, don't worry if you don't find anything or much, you will meet some people in your first few weeks at university, so try not to worry.
