Hi

Can anyone help me please: 'You are required to investigate the effect of gibberellin concentration on the amylase activity of cereal grains'

I was thinking of soaking the seeds in different concentrations of gibberellin and grinding them up then testing for starch. But this doesn't tell me about the rate. How long do I soak them for?

Can anyone help cos my teacher really isn't giving us much information?

well im not too sure how long but it cant be for a very long time otherwise the seeds would start respiring anaerobically.
