I don't think there is a conflict with veux/voudrais

It had an imperfect in the part before, veux would've been stupid

like if it was

"if i were young, i want a cookie."
that doesn't make any sense, it has to be a conditional

I put veux. :frown: But I thought it was in the first part of the sentence, and i'm sure it wasn't followed by the conditional or the imperfect. Oh well. If i got it wrong, one mark doesn't matter!
when do they post the paper/mark scheme online? (as in on the aqa website??
after results day perhaps?

Well, I failed. For shiznet.

Ummm, the reading one: I'm a celebrity get me out of here... These are just vague half-guesses - for questions and answers :P:

1) It was saying that they both had a small chance of winning or something, so I think I said Faux.
2) Was that the french people liked the CycleGuy? So I think I said Vrai.
3) Was this that he took drugs? 'Cos I wrote Vrai, HOPEFULLY. I changed my mind a lot.
4) This was something like, he always goes in for the the tour de france... Maybe. I wrote Faux. :s-smilie::
5) This said she had a troubled childhood... Vrai?
6) This said her book didn't sell well? ND?
7) And... That she wanted to be remembered? Or didn't want to be forgotten... I said V, possibly.

Yeah, these are all that I could remember from the reading. I guess I've missed some out and got some wrong, so please add to it.

I preferred german's essay topics as I didn't like the french one

i think my others were like;

algerienne
sur
voudrais

Yeah I thought the german essay questions were so much nicer too.

Umm, I thought sur should have been sure (with a circumflex over the u) since it was the woman talking in the first person, it should have had a feminine agreement.

2. The french like Cycleman. Vrai.
3. He did take drugs. Vrai. ( I put ND but it was vrai. I translated with dictionary afterwards)
4. He is still doing the tour de France. Faux.
5. She had a troubled childhood. Vrai.
6. Her book sold badly. ND.

It went pretty badly. I don't know whether I'll retake it, or just let it lie, 'cos my oral sucked too. :p:

I don't know, I think it was about 750-800ish I'm not sure, I have quite big handwriting
but when my teacher went for an AQA meeting he was told that they would expect some candidates to exceed the miniumum :o:
I mean it was only a little bit more than the entire booklet I guess
I've started to become very paranoid about examiners
yeah my teacher said always exceed the minimum! it's not like some exams where they stop reading after 200 words. my teacher recommended that for the high achievers in our class (i'm not one of them) they should aim for 500 words if they can.
