****ing horrible, probably the worst example of 'dubstep' i've ever heard.

That's clubstep.

I don't really like the ''regular'' dubstep, I like Modstep. :awesome:

I just wanted to share it on TSR and see if anyone likes it. Well... No.
So you think you're a tosser?

You'd be right.

Anyone like a bit of Shapeshifter New Zealand?? Their originals are good, but I do love this State of Mind remix http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myq7aqo8ucM

Just a mix I recorded the other day, after getting the EP delivered. Bit dodgy in places, but might be up your street. Kicks off with Dutchies , makes a wicked intro track. Let me know what you think.

Yeah I agree, good choice  That was definitely up my street, got some pretty decent tunes on there  Also liked the mix as a whole... it flowed well.

Reminded me of Netsky's essential mix that he did a couple months back in some parts too (this is a good thing, I listened to it about 10 times over :colondollar:)

thats some sweet looking set up, those are speakers badass man! enjoyed the mix cheers, good choice of tunes, riff raff always kills it and it sound so good with timewarp.

got a couple of questions about some 2nd hand turntables I bought a while back if you'd be obliged..

one of the tone arms seems kind of wobbly in it's socket, i've set up the anti skate properly too.. any ideas? so bad sometimes it jogs when i'm cueing a track

also, does the hi-hat in the room coming from the needle disappear with better (more expensive, long funky blue looking) ones?

Dropping Riff Raff into Timewarp VIP worked really well, I'm impressed  you've definitely got potential. I should have a new mix uploaded in the near future hopefully, it's about 1hr30mins long, trying to pack as many styles in as possible.

He's not a tosser just because he likes modestep, yes it's a **** song, but don't judge him for it!
the type of people who have thoughts like this are the type who don't even fully enjoy the music they see the music as an identity to them, a way to be edgy, cool, underground and they find it intrusive on their 'dubstep persona' when other people like 'their' genre of music who aren't hardcore dubstepper sick guys but like indie as well as dubstep.
I can safely say after a year of "producing" dubstep and almost three years of listening, I can identify with it, it means sometihng to me in the sense that I can respect the time and effort the producer has put in making it etc

Top 5 D&B Artists please?

This is hard.... overall I'd have to say; High Contrast, Spor, Noisia, Calibre and B-Complex (I couldn't put them in an order tho!!). Mainly because i've been listening to them for the longest, esp. the first 4 - they got me hooked in the first place!

Although it changes a lot :/ Went through a Netsky phase, and now I can't stop listening to New Zealand Shapeshifter, Apex and London Elektricity. I'm a liquid girl at heart :P
