if you post in the ucl subforum you'll get alot of responses, there is already a massive accomodation thread there.

in short, most ucl accomodation is very good. the international halls aren't always to the same standard but ucl student houses are usually pretty good.
cambell house is undoubtedly one of the nicest if not the nicest house so don't base your idea of all ucl accomm on that house!

Unless they've changed it since last year there's a laundry room in the basement of one of the AT houses for the use of all AT residents (Can't remember if it's for JT too or if they have their own), you'll get a key to it along with your front door key and internal door key. It's open something like 9-8 (might close earlier in the evening, can't really remember) and costs (again, this may have changed, no guarantees) £2 to use the washing machine and 20p per dryer cycle (though realistically you need 3 dryer cycles to get a full load dry).

Tip: Don't do your laundry on a Sunday, there are 3 washers and 2 dryers and after the first couple of weeks it's a nightmare trying to get a free machine on Sunday. Do your washing in the middle of the week when you have a free afternoon or something, much quieter.
