Freud and alpha bias

How does Freud demonstrate Alpha bias? :confused:

I understand the whole Oedipus complex but I don't see how this shows that he exaggerates gender differences.

At a general level, there was methodological bias in Freud's research results, as he interpreted his findings as evidence of female inferiority.

More specifically, Freud claimed 'anatomy is destiny', basing his theories around boys' fear of castration, and girls' 'penis envy', which are key elements of the Oedipus/Electra conflicts.

This is all I could come up with off the top of my head. It's been a while since I studied Freud, but if you need help later on PM me, and I can try and find my notes on this :smile:
