When you say 'overuse injury', what do you mean? If it's a stress fracture, for example, it will take longer than 6 weeks to get back to full fitness
I recently broke my ankle and, while it still hurts, the bone's completely healed and it's just a matter of not being a wimp about the pain when I run/play sport.
